What Inspires Us!
John and Prudy find their lives get filled up by sharing their passions with others. Whether spending time with their guests at the B&B or getting involved to make the community of Taos a better place to live. John has used his marketing talents to help guide visitors to selecting a stay in Taos over the competition. I’m sure he cooks up some of his best ideas while he is creating sumptuous dishes to serve to our guests at breakfast. Hot Oats Brulee and Savory Pancakes are just a couple of his creations that keep our guests lingering at the breakfast table before setting off on their day’s adventures. Oh, and don’t forget to ask John about the 6 novels he has written. (Taos is the perfect setting to inspire the writer/artist in you.) xxx
Prudy was named “Rotarian of the Year” last year by her club, which clearly defines that her life is all about service to others. That quality comes through as she meets each of her guests and begins to help them make the most of their time in Taos. Not only will you enjoy John’s breakfasts, but the many room amenities and comfortable common areas will instantly make you feel you’ve come home in the best sort of way. Warm cookies will greet you upon arrival, as well as Jake, the famous Greeter Dog! Prudy takes the time to listen and give her guests the experience they seek.
With the experience of living in Brussels, Belgium for 5 years during their former Corporate Life, Prudy and John love hearing your stories of your travel adventures. Each morning the breakfast conversation varies. Some days we explore solutions of our educational system, while other days we share differing cultural perspectives with our many international guests. If you have the luxury of staying a few days, you’ll get a better understanding of why running a B&B can be so much fun. Prudy and John love what they are doing in this role of innkeepers, and their gift of Hospitality shines through!
